About Candace Candace lives in South Thomaston, Maine with her partner Dennis, and a black lab called Sadie. Candace fell in love with dogs when her parents brought home a lab/Irish wolfhound puppy, named Sarah. She took to training and exercising the puppy. Sarah had two ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) (joint) surgeries, the last of which involved complications with the anesthesia, and the dog almost died. That experience taught Candace the power of the human-dog relationship and how, for her, it can be more "human" than some human relationships. Thus, Candace enjoys the company of dogs and building dog relationships. Candace may not always remember a person's name but she can never forget a dog's name. |

Now Candace has her "own child", Sadie, who has been the inspiration in starting the dog walking/pet sitting business. The business is even named after her. Sadie thoroughly enjoys her walks on the beach or in the woods, and they even keep her trim and happy. Candace is happy to help like-minded owners give that to their dogs, when they are away or too busy. Candace has been certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. | Her formal training is in photography. Naturally, Candace also enjoys learning about a dog's personality through the lens of her camera. Taking photos of her dog clients out on their walks is not out of the question. |
